We had our first experience with the big Community Playthings water table. We scooped water in and out of containers, filled the funnel, and watched the water travel through the tubes.
Morah Goldie added some blue watercolor so we could see the liquid moving more clearly. |
In preparation for Purim, we practiced dressing up with fun accessories in the dramatic play center.
The beans we planted in plastic bags on Tu B'Shevat grew so much we had to transfer them to cups!
In Music class, we used a parachute, walking while holding it, and going underneath it.
We also continued working on our fingerprint tree that we are making for the big auction. Each child has been assigned their own color to add to the tree (Perly = dark green, Bryna = green, Cassidy = yellow, Freeda = pink, Josie = red, Laylah = peach, Ziva = light green, Asher = blue, Jules = orange, Libi = purple, Reyn = brown).
Whoever takes home this piece will be getting quite a meaningful, bright, inspiring piece of collaborative art!
We are looking forward to a visit from the local fire station tomorrow. I wonder what we will learn together...
