Blast Off!

KDH is preparing to travel to the moon. Today we talked about rhyming and composed our own blast off chant:

                                                       We are a spaceship

                                                       Lying low

                                                       We will blast off

                                                      And go, go, go

                                                      10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, BLAST OFF!!!

 Rhyming is an important pre reading skill and blasting off was actually, yes, a blast!

"We are a spaceship, lying low..."

"We will blast off..."

"And go, go, go!"
