Kitah Alef and the visit from the Traveling Barn!

During snack time on Tuesday we discussed the Traveling Barn that was coming to visit us at camp! The children were all so excited to share what animal they thought they might see.

Abigail- "Ema"
Dovid- "The farm is in the zoo" and trumpeted like an elephant
Lane- Said he wants to see the pools
Hannah- Was excited to see the animals
Jake- Was hoping to see an elephant and a tractor!
Oren- Told his friends he’s been to the zoo and that he wanted to see a pony!
Menachem- Thought he might see a fire truck
Mila- Wanted to see a monkey
Reuben- Wanted to see a lion and giraffe
Tanner- “Neigh! A horse yay!” and banged his chest like a gorilla!
Yaakov- Was hoping to see an elephant

The instructor taught us to use two fingers to pet the rooster

We heard the rooster crow!

Waiting for the bunny to come!

Trying to fit our fingers in the cage to pet the bunny

Some friends brushed the ponies!

Tanner enjoyed bleating back at the sheep

Oren's brother, Erez, showed him the Zebu cow!

We may have not seen all the animals we discussed at snack time but we were definitely not disappointed! What a great hands on experience!

Shabbat Shalom!
