Weaving

It was wonderful to see everyone back at school today and hear the Pesach adventures of hidden afikomen, bowling and other family outings, airplane trips to relatives, etc. The children were thrilled to be together again.

After Tefilla each day,we count the Omer, Sefirat HaOmer. We are counting the days leading up to Shavuot and our receiving the Torah. At this time of year we emphasize our "Ben Adam L'Chavero", our interpersonal relationships. Treating others properly is a criterion to be deserving of getting the Torah.

Today we introduced the large weaving frame. The children took turns, two at a time, weaving together. They sat opposite each other on the opposite sides of the frame and put the ribbon and yarn back and forth. It was exciting to see how well they worked together. KDH, we are so proud of you!
