"It Looks Like Hummus Color!"

The above quote is Asher's excited reaction to seeing the khaki-toned tempera paint set out to add color to their clay bear caves.  This is part of an ongoing project to create bear habitats.

The children's imaginations are captured by the idea of bear caves! A bear cave has been created and set up in the block area, and all are invited to choose one bear from home to bring in and play with in this cave.
