Each child painted a wooden Hamsa for his/her Mommy. We asked the children how their Passover was. Rafi: "It was good." Eli: "I had matza and chocolate." Yaakov Meir: "How was your Passover Morah?"
Our friends in Kitah Alef love painting. We had bright pink and shimmery blue paint. The children were able to choose the color they liked best.
Some of our friends painted their hands and then the Hamsa. Once the Hamsas dried we glued a picture of your favorite two year old on one side and a special song on the other side!
What is Mother's Day with out a delicious snack? Kitah Alef made chocolate banana muffins this week for our special Mommies. We counted the eggs, flour, oil, milk and bananas.
Everyone had a turn mixing, pouring and adding the ingredients. We waited patiently for our turn.
Rafi: "Its my Mommy's birthday!" Zoey: "It's my Mommy's birthday!"
Morah Myriam: "This is for Mother's Day, for all of our Mommies!"
We can't wait to share our special muffins with our Mommies for Mother's Day!
