During winter camp the children explored the light room in the third building. At first they were a little shy to enter through the dark curtains. Lily: "We need more purple lights!"
We placed different objects on the overhead projector for the children to manipulate. They watched the reflections of the various objects as they moved them around. The discovered that their hands also made a shadow on the wall. Lily: "They can have sticks on the ceiling!" Leiba: "Look its my hand!"
A group of children sat down underneath the cubbies. There was a warm glow all around from the lights hanging on the walls and from the ceiling.
