B"H
We are so excited about the upcoming Holiday of Pesach/Passover. As we prepare, we have been discussing the Matzah, the staple food of Pesach. We have explored its color, general brown perhaps, by painting with brown paint on a round brown paper. We painted with forks to get the pokey texture of matzah. He have been discussing the sound Matzah might make- crunch crunch crunch. We even have a song to go with this. We also had the chance to crack matzah and feel what that is like. Finally today as we get closer to Pesach, the Matzah Bakery cam to visit us at school!
We really enjoyed hearing the story of Pesach from King Pharoh himself, was it scary? Not really.
We learned about the entire process of making and baking matzah and were able to make our very own matzah beginning to end! What a great experience and so delicious. As always we are learning about the holiday through our five senses.
