Today's Show and Tell jump started our Chanukah explorations. Thanks to all the yiladim who brought in Chanukah items. Motty and Nadav brought in beautiful books. Motty showed us pictures of the Chanukah story. We read Nadav's book with dreidel playing instructions and Curious George's Chanukah story. A variety of dreidels added excitement. Max and Shalom had soft dreidels, Theo spun a light up musical dreidel, Alex's dreidel walked across the floor, and Felix's dreidel had a Pay instead of the letter Shin because it is the kind played in Israel. Mia had a Mr. Dreidel Man who can bend and twist. Luba brought in "real" Chanukah gelt - a half dollar coin. Nadav and Dovi shared their beautiful menorahs/chanukiot with us and finally Eden showed us gorgeous candles that certainly will beautify the mitzvah.

What an interesting Show and Tell. We can't wait for Chanukah!
