At IJP, the wonderful world of spelling is never confined to
pencil and paper, as proven by our choices of play both inside and outside of
the classroom.
Here's a look into how our love for letters reveals itself
during play.
Iyar spelled out her name, "I-Y-A-R", as she 'wrote' her name with the stem of a leaf during outdoor play.
Ezra wrote the first letter of his name with rubber bands on a geo-board and asked his morah for help with the following one.
While painting a picture, Sholom excitedly pointed out, "This looks like a letter from the Alef-bet!"
