Writing While Playing

At IJP, the wonderful world of spelling is never confined to pencil and paper, as proven by our choices of play both inside and outside of the classroom.

Here's a look into how our love for letters reveals itself during play.

Iyar spelled out her name, "I-Y-A-R", as she 'wrote' her name with the stem of a leaf during outdoor play.

Ezra wrote the first letter of his name with rubber bands on a geo-board and asked his morah for help with the following one.

While painting a picture, Sholom excitedly pointed out, "This looks like a letter from the Alef-bet!"
