Tuesday morning, March 12th. The children came in with much excitement. Finally, the day of our trip to the symphony! Eli Lipskier wore a special kipah with musical notes on it. Dalia had her camera to take pictures of her friends. It was a beautiful wooden camera, fantastic for make believe. Everyone wore an IJP tshirt! We were ready!!
We divided into groups and got into the cars.We were on our way!!
The class gathered in the lobby. When everyone had arrived, we were shown to our seats in symphony hall. Our seats were close to the front of the hall. Fantastic!! Watching and waiting for the hall to fill up and the musicians to take their places, we observed them practicing before the show began.
Finally, the symphony began! The performance focused on music to introduce the children to the many instruments in the orchestra and the different sounds that they produce.
