Shaya and Natalie are helping us learn how to scoop and sprinkle!
Look at my big ice cream scoop!
Liav seems to really appreciate this activity.
Orli waits patiently for her turn as Erez is scooping out some ice cream.
This led to us looking into more ways in which we could integrate some art into our ice cream bin fun. So, we found some color dotters, cut brown paper triangles, and gathered glue sticks for some open-ended art.
Take a look at the materials that sparked our imagination!
Yonah decided that he'd color on more than just the cotton balls, totally fine!
One of Elliot's favorite activities is splatting colors with the dotters.
Parker wants to put his cone sideways!
Adom really likes to use his favorite color, adom (red)!
Look how mina put one dot of each color on her cotton balls.
Benny likes yellow but not too much, just enough.
Ivy was really into blue that day.
Lev and Gavi came the next day and really wanted to make one, too.
Here's Elliot enjoying the sensory bin while his friends make art.
After everyone made an ice cream cone for our art display we made yet another ice cream parlor experience. Yonah made ice cream sundaes and served them to his friends.
Check out our art display of everyone's ice cream cones!
The next week, we had a visit from the Kona Ice truck!
Leora was so excited to choose the flavors for her ice!
Asher concentrates on putting the flavors all over his ice.
Lily holds her cup carefully as she walks over to sit down and enjoy her treat.
Sela chooses an orange flavor, one of her favorites!
Mason is ready for that watermelon flavored ice!
