During center time we observed the yeladim role playing; they split up into their roles and family life began;
Kemp-"I'm the dad!"
Libi-"I'm the sister!"
Bryna-"I'm the Mom!"
Amitai-" I'm the kid, the brother!"
Mia-"I'm the sister!"
Ziva- I'm the dad!"
After they chose parts to be they started to play and their conversational act flowed.
Bryna-"(to the doll) You ready to eat baby,-here."
Amitai-I can't even eat this." "I'm making warm milk for the baby and I will blow on it, ok."
Libi-"I'm cutting this (egg) for the baby."
Amitai-" The baby doesn't like carrots."
Kemp to Libi- "I'm taking a picture of you, ok?( holding a cell phone)"
Bryna-"The baby fell asleep in my arms already."
Amitai- "Here's a bottle he's thirsty."
Kemp-"The baby already became awake but still tired."
Amitai-"We need two more blankets."
Kemp-"(handing it over)Here take these two. Here's more milk bottles for the babies."
Amitai-"Mother, this cinnamon tea for them, smell it.

This intense and layered game of "house" is so integral to their connections as friends and human beings. It is early childhood development of their social and emotional skills that will help them find their way and place in social settings in years ahead. All fostered in the set-up of Kitah Gimmel.
