Painting Pumpkins & Painting with Pumpkins

In Kitah Bet we have some interesting pumpkins and gourds in our fall sensory table. There are bumpy ones, a multi-colored one, and even one that is sort of in the shape of a telephone. We have been using that last one to call each other.

Pumpkins, we discovered, can also be used for art.

First, we painted pumpkins:

Then, we painted WITH pumpkins. 

What else can we do with pumpkins? Perhaps we will make something yummy like pumpkin pie.
